About Bhavrah
Bhavrah is an Indian travel app for experiencing a place through the people who live there. In Manali, Sangla Valley and Chandigarh, travellers hire DigiLocker-verified local experts, meet locals or find travel buddies. Anywhere in India or the world, travellers share their cities, treks and trips in the community gallery.
Bhavrah is not a tour operator and sells no packages. It starts with deep coverage in a few places and grows as verified locals join.
Bhavrah was founded by Kirti Priya, a traveller who kept running into the same gap on every trip: no easy way to find someone who actually knew the place, and no way to trust a stranger from an app. Bhavrah starts in Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh, where it already has verified locals, and exists so that any traveller can spend a day with someone who lives there, and so that locals can earn from what they know.
Our vision
A travel app where anyone can experience a place through the people who live there, and where every city and trail is seen through its locals' own photos and stories.
Our mission
Give local experts a real way to earn from what they know, and give travellers verified identity checks and safety check-ins on every trip, so saying yes to a local is easy.
