A Simple Guide to Kasauli: Gilbert Trail, Mall Road & Where to Eat
A calm, close-to-Chandigarh hill station that's still worth visiting at least once

Kasauli is a calm and beautiful hill station that is very close to Chandigarh. Because it's a quick weekend escape for locals, it is getting a bit crowded these days. But trust me, it is still worth visiting at least once.

The Walk and the Views
Gilbert Nature Trail
Start your day by walking up this trail. It is a very peaceful and easy walk surrounded by green trees and fresh air.
Mall Road: After your nature walk, head down to the famous Mall Road. This is the main market area where everyone walks around to shop and relax.

The Oldest Church: Right opposite the market side, you will find Kasauli's oldest church. It is a beautiful historical building made of stone that you cannot miss.

What to Eat
If you walk just a little further past the church, you will find a local restaurant called Taste of Tibet. The food here is absolutely amazing.
Pizza Spots: If you are craving Italian food instead, you are in luck. Kasauli has opened many great pizzerias recently, so you will easily find a good pizza while walking around town.
